Children (not necessarily in order of birth): George A. Croushorn of Mineral Wells, TX; Kenneth J. Croushorn of Nokesville, VA (deceased); Ralph W. Croushorn of Manassas, VA (deceased); Bert(ram) L. Croushorn (deceased); Paul M. Croushorn of Summerduck, VA; and Margaret Croushorn Webb of Reva, VA.
Siblings: (all deceased as of 2008); Wm. F. Croushorn, Charles W. Croushorn, and Evalena Croushorn Heflin. At the time of his death he was survived by 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was 87 at death and was born in Augusta County at Weyers Cave. He had a half-sister, Sadie Croushorn Byers, who died in 1949 and a half-sister who died at birth along with her mother Mary in 1898.
Uncle Roscoe enjoyed farming and the outdoors, talking to people, and the simple pleasures of life, it seemed to me. Of the three sons of James William, he most resembled his father physically, in my opinion. I enjoyed talking to him and hearing him talk in his unique fast-speech style. He was a hard worker and passed this trait to his descendants, and he was frugal. His wife loved learning and passed on that trait, I believe, to descendants. Like his father and many Croushorns, he seemed to love company and was always friendly, ready to be a good host.
------his niece, Faith Heflin Rumph
{His son Ralph died in 2016 and his son Bert (Bertram L.) died in 1995. Kenneth died in 2017. Roscoe and his wife died around three weeks apart.)
