OKOLONA - Clara Ann Blansett, 70, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at her residence in Okolona after a short illness. She was born and raised in Houston and was the daughter of the late W.M. "Mote" Woodall and Jennie McBrayer Woodall. She retired with Futorian after 28 years of service and had currently been employed with Brian Corbett Bonding Company. A lifelong Baptist, she loved God with all her heart. She enjoyed cooking, her grandchildren and spending time at the Sheriff's Department.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Faith Outreach Church in Okolona with the Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating. Burial will be in the Oddfellows Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters; one son; her stepchildren; one sister; one brother; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; one son, John R. Blansett Jr.; one stepson, John Wayne Blansett.

Pallbearers will be Brian Corbett, Tom "Hightower" Bowens, Keith Robertson, Craig Kincade, Michael Fowler, J.R. Kilgore, Lee Oliver, Roger Barnett, Chris Ware and Dwight Parker.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
