Red was a resident of Las Vegas for 64 years and was the retired owner of VanBuskirk Equipment Company. He also served in the U.S. Navy. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, building hot rods and restoring antique cars. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; brother, Jim; mother, Jeanette; and father, Harold. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Pat; son, David; daughter, Jenny Alesia; grandchildren, Reid and Griffin "Red" Alesia; and brother and best friend, Marvin VanBuskirk.
