PHILIPPINO BOLLOFF

Bolloff, Philippino, Mother, 1836 - 1917

PHILIPPINO BOLLOFF Bolloff, Philippino, Mother, 1836 - 1917.

Only Philippina Bolloff can be found in census records, living in New Brighton, Beaver County PA with daughter Marie E. Niederreiter and her husband Louis.

In 1910 Philippina was a widow and she stated that she was born in Germany and immigrated in 1880. It is possible that the Bolloff family lived in another city before 1900, as they do not easily show up on a casual search.

Philippina, who appears as Philomena in Greenwood records, died on March 29, 1917 in New Brighton at the age of 86, suffering from pneumonia. She was interred on April 1, 1917. Her husband Julius died on November 6, 1901 and was buried in the graveyard attached to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sharpsburg. His remains were moved to Greenwood on March 9, 1904. Also in the plot are Louis and Marie Niederreiter, and Emma and Arthur Garvin.
