Ellen Mueller was born on June 2, 1924, in Dusseldorf, Germany. She married Chester J. Buxton on Feb. 24, 1954, in Frankfort, Germany. Ellen loved all animals, especially her own and requested that memorials be made to the Rock Island County Humane Society.
Survivors include sons, James Buxton of Mounds View, Minn., Chester Buxton of Owassa, Okla.; grandchildren, Ashley and Erich Buxton, both of Owassa. A brother preceded her in death.
