Glenn Motley Speck, 60, of Rt. 2, Clarkson, Superintendent for Whitesides Chemical Company, Louisville, Ky. passed away May 7, 1984 at his home. / He was born April 12, 1924 in Alvaton, Ky., the son of Gilbert E. and Mary Ann Osbourne Speck and was married to Avanell Shadowens Speck, who survives. / He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion 220, Louisville, Ky. / Survivors other than his widow include three step-sons, Edward O. Dennis, Clarkson, James Carl Dennis and Michael Gallagher both of Caneyville; one step-daughter, Mrs. Barbara Brunton, Louisville; one brother, George L. Speck, Alvaton, Ky.; 11 grandchildren also survive. / Services were held May 9, 1984 at Rogers Funeral Home by Rev. James Douthitt with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville, Ky.
