She worked for the Littleton school system for many years. She later was employed as an administrative assistant for her husband, who was the town treasurer.
According to family members, she was the first Girl Scout leader of Littleton. She was a member of the Ida McKinley Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and the Littleton Women's Club. She was also a member and lifetime deaconess of the First Baptist Church in Littleton. She was an avid sports enthusiast, and loved to play cards, read, and make puzzles.
Her survivors include two sons, Charles C. Wright and Stephen W. Wright, both of Littleton; a daughter, Joanne Lyons of Littleton; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild. She was also the sister of the late Edna Olsen and Selma Allen.
