Earline J. Alford, 76, of Hardin, died Monday, November 8, 2004, at the Madison St. Joseph Health Care Center in Madisonville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Pm, Thursday, November 11, 2004, a the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin. Visitation will be held from 5 Pm to 9 Pm, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Earline was born October 1, 1928 in Goose Creek, to parents; Larkin M. and Georgia Bell Ballard Hilton, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in the Hardin area since 1946. She was a cook for the Liberty I.S.D., where she worked for the elementary school for ten years, was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, and the Nolan D. Pickett VFW Post Auxiliary. She also enjoyed silk flower arranging, travel, camping, and the outdoors.
Mrs. Alford was preceded in death by her parents, husband: William T. Alford, Sr. and son: Raymond F. Alford. She is survived by her son: William T. Alford, Jr. and wife Patsy of Hardin, daughter: Alice Middleton and husband Wayne of Iola, sister: Velma Ashley of Onalaska, seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
