Willie Benagie Arnold, 80, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Mount Green. He was the son of the late William Monroe Arnold and Beady Cornelia Harrell Arnold.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elsie Thompson Arnold, Waycross; two sons, McCoy Arnold, Manchester, and Jessie Arnold, Lewis, Ind.; one step-son Robert Moye, Tampa, Fla.; six sisters, Mrs. Ira Mercer, Mrs. Ettie Kight, and Mrs. Essie Smith, all of Waycross, Mrs. Evie Crew and Mrs. Eurice Riley, both of Cleveland, Tenn., and Mrs. Gertrude Holsenbeck, St. Marys; two brothers, Hoke Arnold, Argyle, and Jerome Arnold, Hilliard, Fla.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Mincy-Fulford chapel. Burial will be in Hargraves Cemetery.

Mincy-Fulford Funeral Home is in charge.
