Daniel Perrine was born January 5, 1778 in Perrineville, Monmouth Co., NJ to William and Annie Vance Perrine. The parents brought the family to Mercer County, PA at an early age.
On April 12, 1809, he married Charlotte Egbert, daughter of William and Rebecca Jobe Egbert who were from Cranberry, Middlesex, NJ.
Daniel and Charlotte had ten children: John P., Job, Mary, Rebecca, William Harrison, Oliver Perry, Lewis, Andrew Jackson, Samuel North and Elizabeth.
Daniel served in the 134th Regiment of the PA Militia during the War of 1812.
