Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Vira Davis of Narrows, Va., will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Rev. J.A. Green and Rev. Martin Porter will officiate, and burial will be in Rich Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis, the widow of Joshua Davis, died Wednesday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D.C. Dent of Narrows. She had spent most of her life in Giles County.
Additional survivors are two sons, Frank and DeLos Davis of Narrows; 18 grandchildre; and a brother, Clayton Cooper of Narows.
The body has been returned to the Dent residence from Riffe's Funeral Home at Narrows and will be taken to the church Friday at 12:30 p.m.
