Herbert W. Barker, a former resident of Nelson, died at Lincoln Sunday. He was a son of Mrs. E. E. Barker. He was forty-five years of age and leaves a wife and family of children. The body was brought to Nelson and was laid to rest here on Wednesday. The mother and her son Percy accompanied the remains here.

Percy Barker of Minneapolis Minn., came in Tuesday evening to be present at the burial of his brother Herbert Barker.

BARKER -- Herbert W., forty - four years old, died in Lincoln Sunday. Besides a wife, he leaves six children and a mother, Mrs. E. E. Barker, all of Lincoln. Mr. Barker was a member of the Spanish American War veterans. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from Morey's funeral home. Rev. Lloyd E. Foster officiating.
