Services for Mrs. Wilkerson, 53, a sixth grade teacher at Walter J. Baird Middle School, who lived on Gwendolyn Drive in Lebanon, are 4 PM today March 28, 1994 at College Street Church of Christ with Larry Locke officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Castalian Springs.
Family visitation will be 9 AM to 3:30 PM today at LIgon & Bobo Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilkerson was born October 27, 1940 in Trousdale County to Joe and Neale Gregory Armstong, who survive. She was a member of the College Street Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School 25 years. she was educated at Cumberland and David Lipscomb College. She was a member of the Teachers Sorority. She died March 26, 1994 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville after a brief illness.
Survivors beside her parents include husband, David Earl Wilkerson; children, Jason Al Bybee of Lebanon and Tara Beard of Lebanon; brothers, Joe Armstrong of Hendersonville and Nelson Armstrong of Murfreesboro; sisters, Georgia Bandy of Nashville, Patricia Pruett of Castalian Springs and Debbie Wrye of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren, Ethan and Micah Beard of Lebanon.
