Jeremiah was born Jan. 13, 1984, in Newport, Wash., to Gregory and Sandra Olson Johnson. The family lived in Priest Lake, Idaho, for five years before moving to Troy.
Jeremiah attended school at Troy, where he was active in wrestling and basketball, and lettered in football all of his high school years. He also enjoyed cross-country track, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and was active in 4-H and FFA, where he received the Grand Champion Award for showmanship for his pig at the Latah County Fair. He enjoyed singing Karaoke and cooking for "steak night" at the Plantation in Moscow.
Since graduating from high school at Troy in 2002, Jeremiah worked with his dad, then at Idaho Cedar Sales in Troy, Bennett Lumber in Princeton, Steve Henderson Logging, Deans Logging, and worked concrete for Eisinger Construction in Moscow, and had recently returned to work with his dad and brother at Greg Johnson and Sons Construction.

Jeremiah was preceded in death by a sister, Jessica; and grandparents, Bertil Johnson, and Betty Olson; and great-grandmother, Vida Ackerman.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Moscow Nazarene Church with Pastor Elizabeth Larsen of the Troy Lutheran Church and Pastor Dave Halvorson of the Troy Nazarene Church officiating, and a covered-dish dinner will be at Pete's Place (Troy Lions Club) in Troy.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Troy Ambulance Fund, The Shriners' Childrens Hospital or the Troy FFA Program.
Arrangements are under the direction of Short's Funeral Chapel in Moscow.
