Mary was known to dance the Tarantella at weddings and family gatherings.

She married Rocco Rosato and they had nine children:

John Rosato

Rocco migrated to the Bronx from Italy in 1908. His town of origin was Toritti, Bari, Italy. Before losing his eyesight he owned and operated an ice and coal delivery business. After he lost his eyesight he made a living selling newspapers and magazines at 149th Street and 3rd Avenue in the Bronx. His newstand was located at the 3rd Avenue elevated train station.
