MONTEITH
At Corvallis, on Wednesday morning, January 9th, 1889, Mrs. Charlotte Monteith, aged about 60 years. Mrs. Monteith came to Oregon, with her husband and family, about twenty years ago, residing in Albany until about seven years ago, when she moved to Corvallis.
She was a family of seven or eight children and her husband all pass away, but one daughter, Mary, who survives her in poor health.
Mrs. Monteith was one of nature's noblewomen, the loss of whom is a great one. Few more exemplary wives and mothers ever live.
