Betty Lou Causey Webb, age 78, of Covington passed away September 4, 2016. She was born one of nine children on April 16, 1938 in Blakely, Georgia to Lofton Whit and Mamie Lou Gaffney Causey who have preceded her in death. On April 11, 1954 she married her husband, Robert Andrew Webb and the two shared 40 years of life before he passed away in 1994. Mrs. Webb was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who enjoyed many things in life; however she enjoyed nothing more than her family. She loved to start her day with a cup of coffee and shared that time with her son, Robert. Mrs. Webb loved to travel going on day trips to play slot machines or to the mountains or beach. She was a member of New Life Praise Center.
Mrs. Webb is survived by her children who she called “Angels”; Robert Webb, Cathy and Steve Harville, Tammie and Glenn Lovering and Cindy and Anthony Mask, along with her 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and her sister and brothers; Helen Stephens of Conyers, J.W. and Kathy Causey also of Conyers and Alvin Causey of Leesburg, Florida along with many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the Turner Lake Complex, 6185 Turner Lake Road, Covington, GA 30014, with Reverend Justin Adams officiating.
