Scotch Ridge, December 27, 1926 (Special) – Mrs. Jane Casady died suddenly Christmas morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ben Mott. Just as she was being helped into the car to go with the Mott family to the home of their daughter, Mrs. Caulkins, she became ill and had to be taken back to the house, where her death occurred very soon.

Christmas Day was her birthday, and her life-time was 78 years. The funeral service will be held at two o'clock p.m. today [December 27] at the Baptist Church of Summerset. Burial will be on the family lot in the Scotch Ridge Cemetery.
