Lloyd "Sonny" Bohart, 94, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on June 9, 2008. He was born Dec. 23, 1913, the youngest of six siblings of Freeman and Carrie Bohart. Lloyd was raised and educated in Bozeman.

On Oct. 19, 1935, he married Marjorie Gillingham. That union lasted 68 years and produced two sons, Raymond and Robert. In 1951, Lloyd and family relocated to the Boise Valley. And yet, in his heart, "Sonny" was always a Montanan.

Lloyd enjoyed a successful commercial real estate career. When he retired in 1973, then he and Marjorie enjoyed traveling to 28 countries, plus many U.S. destinations, particularly Hawaii.

Lloyd enjoyed the friendship and many social and Masonic organizations including DeMolays, the Elks, Gallatin Grand Lodge No. 6 (73 years, Bozeman), Capital City Kiwanis Club (46 years, Boise), Scottish Rite, Knife & Fork Club (president 1983) and Sons of the American Revolution. Lloyd attended United Whitney Methodist Church of Boise.

Lloyd and Marjorie enjoyed many great times with friends and family at their bench home, followed by Parkview Apartments (hot air balloons in Ann Morrison Park!), and then excellent care at Valley View Retirement Center.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wonderful wife, Marjorie in 2004; and son, Raymond in 1992.

Immediate survivors include son, Robb of Palm Springs and Seattle, and Lynn and Al Frieze of Boise.

Lloyd's widowed years were greatly enhanced by the friendships of Coleene Rekow, Paul Enzmeyer, Harlow Kibbey, John Corliss, Bob Zimmerman, Billie and Burrell Lirgg, and so many others. A special thanks to the staffs of Life Care of Treasure Valley, Havenwood Care Givers, and Hearts for Hospice during the last part of his life journey.
