Orville S Duell
BRANT LAKE Orville S. Duell. 71. of Duell Hill
Road,died unexpectedly December 31. 1980 at
his home.
Mr. Duell was born March 15, 1909, the son of
Orlin and Georgia (Combs) Duell. He was a life
resident of the area.
Mr. Duell was a life member of the Brant Lake
Wesleyan Church. He owned and operated a
saw mill in Brant Lake from 1952 to 1960.
He was also a dairy farmer for many years and
owned and operated a feed store and greenhouse
in Brant Lake. He was a member of the Brant
Lake Senior Citizens organization.
Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Bertha
(Twiss) Duell; a daughter, Miss Hilda Fay Duell
of Brant Lake; a son Robert Lewis Duell of
Brant Lake; a brother, Norman Duell of
Fultonville, and several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at
the Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home,
114 Main St., Warrensburg, by the
Rev Gregory Sigworth, pastor of the Horicon
Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Brant Lake Cemetery.
The family has suggested that memorials may
be made in the form of contributions to the
Chestertown Volunteer Emergency Squad.
