Her parents were Ogden and Lucile Smith Jones. She attended schools in Lawrence, Topeka and Amarillo, TX, graduating from Lawrence High School in 1944. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Camma Sorority at Kansas University and graduated in 1948 with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. She married James E. Guinotte on May 7, 1949 in Lawrence, KS and moved to Chanute, KS. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Altar Society and Parish Council. She enjoyed painting, nature and was an avid Kansas City Royals fan. Husband, Jim; sons, Jim, William and John of Chanute, Joe of Wichita and Tim of Ottawa; daughters, Mary Morris of Altoona, Aimee Benage of Los Alamos, NM, Alison Pacheco of Indianapolis, IN, Nancy Eichten of Topeka; 21 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ogden Jones of Kalamazoo, MI and Richard Jones of Lafayette, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mike Jones and son, Richard Guinotte. Johnson Mortuary.
