The daughter of Dr. John Thomas and Veronica Borop Padgham, she was born July 26, 1928 at Grinnell, Iowa. She was a graduate of Cornell College in Mt. Vernon and was an elementary school teacher in the Mt. Pleasant school system. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Chapter DD of the T.T.T. Society and the American Association of University Women.
On June 25, 1950 at Grinnell, she was married to James L. Morrison, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, John, Sacramento, Calif., and a daughter, Ann, a student at Cornell College; her mother, Mrs. Veronica B. Marsh, Seal Beach, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Kenneth Graff, Livermore, Calif., and one brother, John B. Padgham, Ahwaz, Iran.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at the First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Robert Mathews of St.
Michael's Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will be in Hazelwood Cemetery, Grinnell.
Friends may call at the Crane-Ewart-Young Funeral Home as they desire. Those who wish to do so may contribute to a memorial to the First Presbyterian Church in her memory.
