George W. Simmons, 69, of Sacramento died on March 18, 1984 at American River Hospital in Carmichael. He is survived by three children, Emma Gallegos, George D. Simmons, and William Simmons; brothers, Homer Simmons and Raymond Simmons; sisters, Irene McKinney, Elma Davis, and Connie Becker; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was a native of Freedom, Oklahoma. Friends are welcome to attend graveside services at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes.
