Mrs. Josephine E. Moores, 78 233 W. Rich Ave., died at noon friday in Akron, Ohio.
Born 29 Nov. 1886 in Richmond, Ky. Mrs. Moores had been a longtime resident of deland for more than 40 years. She was a longtime employee of the Dreka Dept. Store and of Betty Dreka's.
She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church.
Mrs. Moores is survived by relatives in Ohio and a cousin Pompano Beach.
Funeral services will include a rosary at 7:30 PM today In Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel and Requim Mass at 9 AM Monday in St. Peter's Church. Father Peter Reynolds will officiate.
Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Holy Name Society. ref. Deland Sun News, Sunday 17 Oct. 1965.
