CLYDE J. DREW, 85, 608 Downing St., New Smyrna Beach, died Monday. Born in Mayport, he moved to New Smyrna Beach from there in 1919. He was a retired conductor with the Florida East Coast Railway. He was a charter member of the First Presbyterian Church, New Smyrna Beach. He was a 55-year member of the New Smyrna Beach Lodge 149 F&AM and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Survivors: wife, Gertrude; daughter, Mary "Smokey" Sylva, Edgewater; brothers, C. Frank, New Smyrna Beach, John R., Mayport; sisters, Blanche Williams, Ruth Capo, both of Mayport, Madaline Smidt, Jacksonville; one grandchild.
