Funeral services for Anna Catherine Morrow were held on Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Schafer and Peck Funeral Home. The Rev. O.A. Emerson, pastor of First Baptist church officiated.
Pallbearers were Arthur Morrow, Floyd Hale, Forrest Arnold, Lee Arnold, Lloyd Grothe and Ed Morrow. Burial was in Tekamah cemetery.
Miss Morrow died October 11, 1960 at her home at the age of 83.
Born at Plattsmouth on July 13, 1877, she grew to womanhood on a farm near there.
When she was 18 she moved with her parents to a farm in the Riverside community, where she resided until she entered nurse's training at Seward. She practiced the nursing profession until ill health forced her retirement. She was a generous woman who spent her life in service to others.
A member of the Riverside Baptist Church, she remained faithful to her Christian beliefs. In later years she became a student of Christian Science.
She belonged to the Rebekah Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and other organizations.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and three brothers.
Surviving are her sister, Lillian, and a brother, Lawrence, both of Tekamah; seven nieces and six nephews. She reared one nephew, Thomas R. Morrow, now in California, from babyhood.
