Bill was born in Elmira, NY on March 14, 1917.

His grandfather, Alexander P. Morrow, founded the Willys-Morrow Overland Company located in Elmira. This company manufactured liberty aircraft engines during WWI and invented the Morrow Coaster bicycle brake in the early 1900's. Bill received his love of engineering and computer aptitude from his grandfather, Alexander.

Bill served in WWII in the Army-Air Force from 1941 to 1945. He worked on advanced warning radar stations. He was transferred at the end of WWII to El Centro, CA, where he met his wife, Adeline "Addie". Bill then started to work for RCA, working on military radar systems. He traveled to the Arctic regions and the Marshall Islands with RCA. He worked for RCA for forty years in New York and on the East Coast, but mainly in Moorestown, NJ, from where he retired in 1979.

Bill lived in Burlington County for the majority of his life with his wife and family. He was very community oriented. This included AARP, Chapter 1545 of Mount Holly, NJ, Boy Scouts Troop 85 of Willingboro, Board of Education for the Westampton School District for many years, Burlington County Amateur Emergency Group in New Jersey.

Bill loved to use his Ham radio operator's knowledge manning checkpoints during charity walks or runs in the county. Bill also volunteered as an AARP sponsored IRS tax aid for the elderly. He loved going to their homes or meeting with them to help with the paperwork. Bill was never idle during his retirement from RCA.

He loved residing at the "Morrow Estate" on Burrs Road as the family called it. He left Westampton in November of 2007, when the house was sold.

Bill was predeceased by his wife, Adeline (nee Belda) in July of 2004.
