Son of Roy Jay Sholly and Drucie F. Weaver
Ervin R. "Dutch" Sholly Sr. of Newberry Twp. died Thursday in Holy Spirit Hospital.
He retired as a truck driver from the former Johnson's Motor Lines; was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II; and a member of Yocumtown Church of God, Goldsboro Fire Company, the Capital City Motorcycle Club, Teamsters Local 776 and American Legion Post 974, Fairview Twp.
Surviving are his wife, Ardis J. Stuck Sholly; a son, Landis J..; two daughters, Beverly A. Pancin and Leanora K. Schwartz; a sister, Evelyn Shettle; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in his church. Burial will be in Fetrow Cemetery, Newberry Twp.
Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday in the church.
Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland, is handling arrangements.
