Beverly Bott, a daughter of Anton and Rose (Keller) Schell, was born on Sept. 19. 1947 at Rugby. As a young girl she attended the Rosebush School near her home and the Little Flower Catholic School in Rugby. She also attended the Rugby High School. On May 15, 1967 she was married to Robert Bott at Rugby. Following their marriage they moved to Minot for a time. They returned to Rugby in 1968. In the spring of 1970 they moved into Bottineau. They later moved to a farm northeast of Bottineau. Beverly was a care provider for children in the area for a time. She also worked at Gordon's Piggly Wiggly in Bottineau. She was diagnosed with ALS in July of 1999. She was a teacher's aide in the Bottineau School System during the time of her illness.
Beverly passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, in a Bottineau health care center following a battle with ALS.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, at home; one daughter. Kristi Jones of Velva; two sons, Preston Bott at home, and James Bott of Aurora, CO; one grandson, Christopher Bott of Aurora, CO: six sisters, Clara Hood and Betty Pool, both of Milton, FL.; Mary Volk of Berwick; Delores Schmidt of Linton; Rose Keller of Towner, and Bernie Ziegler of Hazen; and three brothers. Joe Schell of Drake, Tony Schell of Minot and George Schell of Towner.
