Will was born in Germany and came to America at the age of one with his parents Wilhelm & Johanna and siblings Reka & Herman.

After they were married, he and his wife Nettie(Foster) moved from Kankakee Illinois to Dowagiac Michigan. He is survived by his wife Nettie of Dowagiac Mi. and siblings Herman Kohlmetz of Gilman Illinois, and Alvina Menge of Utica N.Y.
