PIERCE, JAKE - age 94, of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, January 24, 2000, at LaFollette Medical Center. He was a member of Well Spring Christian Church. Mr. Pierce was retired from Goodrich Tire Company. He began his employment with Goodrich in Akron, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Joseph Pierce, and his parents James and Martha Pierce. Survivors include his sisters, Marie Pierce of Knoxville, Edna Heleen of Paintsville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews [names not included in order to preserve their privacy]. Service was held at Cross Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Dagley officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
