Clyde Hollis Tatum, 80, of Cherokee, Ala., died Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee, Ala. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Barton Cemetery. Dwight Rivers will officiate. He was a native of Ripley, Miss., and a member of Pride Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Auzzie and Amanda Glissen Tatum; brother, Chy Tatum; and sister, Irma Crum. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Tatum, of Cherokee, Ala.; his son, Dale Tatum and wife, Lisa, of Smyrna, Tenn; sister, Ora Randolph; and grandchild, Dale "Scooter" Tatum Jr. Pallbearers will be Robert Howard, Steve McCaig, Frankie McCaig, Sam Howard, Sonny Marshall, Jody Marshall, Jerry Howard and Roger Presley.
