Mabel A. Zink, 97, of Central Avenue, died at 12:10 p.m. Sunday, Sept, 6, 1992, at Community Care Center.

She was a 50-year member of Salem Order of the Eastern Star and also was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church at Salem.

Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel, with the Rev. J. William Keith Jr. officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to either the Columbus or Salem chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Zink was born July 16, 1895, in Salem, the daughter of Robert and Harriet Allen Colglazier. She married Harry H. Zink Sept. 4, 1918 in Salem. He died June 22, 1981.

Survivors include sons, Gerald G. Zink of Columbus, Earl E. Zink of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and Richard L. Zink of Santee, S.C.; daughters, Julia E. Kaufman of Bluffton and Mary L. Anderson of Columbus; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
