Rachael H. Baxter, 79, 2120 Coldsprings in Indianapolis, died Thursday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was the sister of Edna F. Spiece and Bertha M. Dickerson, both of Columbus.
Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel, with burial at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Born Aug. 19, 1899, in Bartholomew County, Mrs. Baxter was employed as an office clerk for the Crane Co. until she retired in 1944. She was married to Omer E. Baxter who survives.
She was a member of the Indianapolis Women's Republican Club, National Federation of Republican Women, Wayne Township Republican Club and North Liberty Christian Church, Indianapolis.
