Willard Lyle Park, 81, of Warrensburg, Il., passed away 5:33 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 11 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 10 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Park was born November 30, 1924 in Boody, the son of Clinton Gibson and Nina Mae (Piper) Park. He married Rosemary June Short on October 28, 1942, in St. Charles, MO. Willard was a farmer and owned and operated Park Leghorn Farm, and also worked at A.E. Staley. He was a member o Warrensburg United Methodist Church and was Livestock Superintendent at Decatur Fairgrounds, 4-H Leader, softball and basketball coach, a member of the Warrensburg Lions Club and avid Cub fan.

Surviving are his wife, Rosemary of Warrensburg; children; Sandra Joy Hunter of Altamont, IL.; Rodney Thomas Park and wife Kay, of Forsyth, IL.; Gloria Jean Lowery and husband Dennis, of Decatur, IL.; Dennis Wayne Park and wife Debbie, of Warrensburg, IL.; Lester Dean Park and wife Pat, of Sumter, SC.; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; step-mother; Nettie June Park of Decatur, IL.; sister; Juanita Mae Plummer of Clinton, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Betty Jean Cochran, Marcela Irene Park and great-granddaughter Stephanie Nicole Park.
