Iola H. Aiken, age 85, died June 16, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Niceville, Fla.
Mrs. Aiken was a member of Palmetto First Baptist Church and attended Valparaiso First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Jack S. Aiken; son, Jack B. Aiken; and granddaughter, Dianna Christine Stewart. Survivors include daughters, Linda Castleman (Jim) of Niceville, and Hilda Stewart (Don) of New Albany, Ind.; grandchildren, Christopher Stewart, Pamela Miller (Mike), Keith Aiken and Brian Aiken; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Nicole and Noah Miller.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, at Kicliter Funeral Home with the funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Palmetto City Cemetery.
A special thanks to Dr. Angel D. Morrobel and Dr. Osvaldo Mardones for the care given to Iola. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Palmetto, 1020 4th St., West Palmetto, FL 34221.
