Aaron L. Phillips, 18, died Saturday at his home. He was born in Lapeer, MI, and had lived in Putnam County for the past two years, coming from Vero Beach. He was formerly employed by the Putnam County humane Society as a veterinarian assistant.
He is survived by his father, Carl L. Phillips Sr. of Interlachen; mother, Dolores Phillips of Interlachen; brothers, Carl L. Phillips Jr. of Sebastian, Kenneth Dale Phillips Jr. [sic] of Interlachen, Scott D. Phillips of Fort Pierce; sisters, Jean Phillips Melton of Interlachen, Donna Phillips Eglinger of Greensboro, NC, Betty Joann Phillips of Cocoa, Dawn Jobson of Interlachen; grandmother, Pauline Rook of Vero Beach; and financé, Lynn Newman of Interlachen.
The funeral is 9 a.m. Wednesday at Masters Funeral Home in Interlachen with Pastor Jamie Litchfield officiating. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
