Francis Maudine Buckmaster, 88, of San Angelo passed away Saturday, July 27,
2002, at her residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, in
Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Trull and Johnnie Harper
officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery. Maudine was born Dec. 31,
1913, in Rising Star, Texas, to William Warren and Beulah Ellen Brooks. She was
a homemaker and a resident of San Angelo since 1958. Maudine was married to
Samuel Roosevelt Buckmaster on Feb. 23, 1936. He preceded her in death on July
16, 1999. Survivors include sons, Herbert Leo Buckmaster and wife, Elaine, of
Raleigh, N.C. and Donald Ray Buckmaster and wife, Patsy, of Austin, Texas;
daughter, Shirley Ann Custer and husband, Morris, of Christoval, Texas;
brother, Wincel Warren Brooks and wife, Jean, of Coleman, Texas; grandsons,
Heath Buckmaster of Sacramento, Calif., David Teague and wife, Teresa, of
Lubbock, Texas, Dale Teague and wife, Jeanette, of Bastrop, Texas;
granddaughter, Pam McQueenie and husband, Peter, of San Antonio, Texas; great-
granddaughters, Taylor Teague and Caley Teague of Bastrop, Texas and Brittani
Teague of Lubbock, Texas; great-grandsons, Aric Teague of Lubbock, Texas, Shane
Custer and Jason Custer, both of Mathis, Texas. Pallbearers will be Shane
Custer, Jason Custer, Aric Teague, Edwin Forehand, Wendell Radford and Blaine
Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be David Teague, Heath Buckmaster, Dale
Teague, Pam McQueenie, Lavarl Brooks and Dennis Brooks.
