Funeral services for George B. Arnold, 55, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Lowell Kenyan, pastor of River Valley Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home. George was born in Natchez, MS September 26, 1952.
Mr. Arnold entered into rest June 21, 2008 at Willis-Knighton Bossier. As owner of Arnold O & P , George served 1,000's of patients as a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist. He was a celebrated and loved member of River Valley Church, and a resident of Bossier City for twelve years.
George loved life, his wife and his kids with all his heart.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Arnold DOB 6/12/1956; DOD 10/28/1972.
Survivors include wife, Penny McDowell Arnold; son, George Logan Arnold; daughter, Lauren Marie Arnold and stepdaughter Mallory Shaye McDowell, all of Bossier City; parents, John W. and Dorothy Ree (Farmer) Arnold of Natchez, MS; two brothers, John Windburn Arnold, Jr. (DOB 9/19/1951) of Brandon, MS; Hugh Gordon Arnold (DOB 2/26/1960) of Vidallia, LA; one niece and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Nash Nunnery, Steve Puckett, Larry Cox, Doug Delap, Richard Straughan, Albert Stoma and Mike Staples.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the River Valley Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 72685, Bossier City, LA 71172.
