LULA MAGERS, 97, of Memphis, retired from Goldsmith's department store, died of heart failure Thursday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. She was a member of Merton Avenue Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Magers, the widow of Curtiss Magers, leaves a daughter, Pauline Hyman of Memphis; two sons, Milton Magers of Bella Vista, Ark., and Raudon Magers of Chicago, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
