EDWARD W. ANDERSON
Edward W. Anderson, 46, of 507 Valparaiso, died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Michael Reese hospital, Chicago, after a three-month-illness.
Born April 30, 1912 in Hebron, he was graduated from Hebron High school and was employed at Republic Steel corporation for 20 years. He married Alice Roeske May 1, 1939, in Columbia City.
Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Cynthia, 8; three sons, Lloyd, 17; Thomas, 14; and Dean, 5; his father, Charles of Hebron; two brothers, John of Hebron, and Charles of Valparaiso; 11 sisters, Mrs. M. R. Williams and Mrs. Gordon Elliott, Valparaiso; Mrs. Paul Pierce and Mrs. Willard DeFries of Hebron, Mrs. Homer Pratt and Mrs. William John of Sioux City, Ia.; Mrs. J. D. Vaughn of Fort Walton, Fla.; Mrs. B. J. Purviance of Linden, Calif.; Mrs. Eugene Hayden of Lowell; Mrs. Thomas Weber of Miller, and Miss Thelma Anderson of Chicago.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Immanuel Lutheran church. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the LePell Funeral home from 2 p.m. Tuesday until services.
