Adda Pearl Burkhart 79 died at 9;30 P.M. Monday July 2, 1979 in North Arundel Hospital, Glen Burnie, MD, following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 18, 1899, in Frugality, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Lane) Prough, and in 1920, married Levi Burkhart.
Surviving are her husband, two children, Howard of Glen Burnie and" Mrs. Bonnie Barclay of Altoona; five grand children, nine great-grandchildren and a sisier, Mrs. Myrtle Wyant of Altoona.
Mrs. Burkhart was a member of Ihe Altoona Blble Church.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Henry Kulp. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
