He was a member of 9451 Oldtown VFW, Henry Hart Post of the American Legion in Cumberland, and Prosperity Christian Church, Clearville, Pa.
He was the son of the late Frederick C. and Carrie E. (Smith) Hartsock. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Virginia Hartsock, one son, Robert Willard Hartsock, one daughter, Helen Louise Hartsock, and two brothers, Harry Hartsock and Donald Hartsock.
He is survived by a son; a daughter; five grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters; a sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
