EVELYN NEFF
Evelyn E. Neff, 84, of Evansville, died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday at Welborn Baptist Hospital. She had worked for Bromwell Business College and Servel and was a secretary for the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corp.
Surviving are three daughters, Jane E. McDermott of Evansville, Julie A. Fowler of Fountain, Colo., and Mary L. Fenske of Chesterton, Ind.; a son, Gerald W. Neff of New Freedom, Pa.; two sisters, Mildred Freudenberger and Irene Krietemeyer, both of Evansville; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, continued at 9 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, the Rev. Godfrey Mullen officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a memorial service will be at 7 p.m.
