Paint Store Proprietor Dies at 65
Albert J. Dietsch, 65-year-old paint store owner, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Deaconess Hospital. Dietsch, of 2028 West Michigan Street, had been the owner of the Dietsch Wallpaper and Paint Store at 2013 West Franklin Street for 13 years. Prior to owning the paint store, he had been a paper hanger and painter for 30 years. Before that, Dietsch was a foreman at Helfrich Pottery. A native of St. Wendel, Ind., he was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, and Knights of St. John Commandery, both of the church. Survivors include his wife, Anita; three sons, Jack of St. Wendel, Eugene of Evansville, and Tom of Dayton, OH; three sisters, Miss Ann Dietsch, Mrs. J.C. Little, and Mrs. Wayne Bunker, all of Evansville; four brothers, Edward of St. Wendel, William of Evansville, Martin of St. Paul, Minn., and Joseph of Wichita, Kan., and 11 grandchildren. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday at Miller and Miller Funeral Home.

Albert owned Dietsch's Paint and Wallpaper store at 2030 West Franklin St, Evansville, Indiana, from 1951 to 1964. On July 8, 1964, he spent the day working in his son's (Jack) garden in St. Wendel, Indiana. He went home later, and died.
