"CORRECTION - The Herald erroneously reported the death of Frank Nichols, 27, of Spartansburg, RD 2, in Thursday morning's edition. It was Nichols' father, Clarence, 60, who died Monday in Corry Memorial Hospital as the result of an accident last month. The Nicholses were using a farm tractor to pull a truck out of a snowbank when the tow chain became tangled. When the elder Nichols tried to free the chain, the truck drifted toward the tractor, pinning him between the vehicles."
