"Everett 'Roy' Nichols - Everett LeRoy 'Roy' Nichols, 20, of Spartansburg, RD 3, died yesterday morning in Corry Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born Oct 18, 1943, in Corry, the son of Clarence and Dorothea Maker Nichols. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartansburg, and had attended Sparta Merged School. He is survived by his parents; one brother, Frank Nichols at home; three sisters, Mrs Paul G Blakeslee and Mrs Paul Crawford of Corry, RD 2, and Virginia Nichols at home; his maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Chris Maker of Spartansburg, RD 3, and seven nieces and nephews. Friends may call...at the H Richard Hays Funeral Home at Spartansburg and attend the funeral service there at 2pm Wednesday with Rev Robert Richardson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Spartansburg."
