FORMER RESIDENT DIES
Word was received here this week of the death of Mrs. Elsie Cleo Tennison, age 43, at her home near Marysville, Calif. Jan 27. Death was due to pneumonia.
Mrs. Tennison was well known in this vicinity, having made her home southeast of town until 1926 when she, with her husband and children moved to Calif.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Henry M. Tennison three daughters, Letha, Lola, and Pauline; two sons, Devert and Donald: her mother, Mrs. Melinda Palmer; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Davis, Mrs. May Davis, Mrs. Jessie Lolmaugh, Mrs, Edna Boswell and Mrs. Florence Lachman; two brothers, William Sliger and Gus Palmer; seven step-brothers and two step-sisters.

A large group of sorrowing relatives survive Mrs. Elsie Cleo Tennison, prominent Hallwood district woman, who died Monday at her home after a short illness.
Mrs. Tennison was born 43 years ago at New Ross, Indiana and had lived at Hallwood for the past several years. She leaves with her husband, Henry M. Tennison, three daughters, Letha, Lola and Pauline; two sons, Devert and
Donald; her mother Mrs. Melinda Palmer; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Davis, Mrs. May Davis, Mrs. Jessie Lolmaugh, Mrs Edna Boswell and Mrs. Florence Lachman; two brothers, William Sliger and Gus Palmer; seven step-brothers and two step-sisters.
Her body lies in state at the chapel of Hogle, Byrne and Otis, Ninth and D Streets.
Services are to be conducted by Rev. Gertrude Knight in the Hallwood Church of the Nazarene at 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment is to be in Sierra View Memorial park.
