WILLIAM HENRY RINGGER
William Henry Ringger, 69, 1210 Chicago road, died at 11 a.m. today at Porter Memorial hospital after a three months' illness.
He was born Oct. 24, 1886, in Gridley, Ill., the son of John and Magdaline (Beck) Ringger. He married Clara Schladenhauffen in Chicago on Dec. 6, 1915.
Ringger was a switchman in the transportation department at Inland Steel. He lived here one year, coming from Hammond.
Surviving besides the widow are one daughter, Mrs. Martha Louise Cadwalader, Hammond; one son, William Ringger, Jr., RFD 2, Valparaiso; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Pine, Mrs. Amelia Madsen and Mrs. Ida Hohenstein, all of Chicago Heights; four brothers, Jack, Walter and Elmer, Toledo, O., and Edward, Watseka, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Three brothers and two infant daughters preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Apostolic Christian church in LaCrosse following short services at the Bartholomew Funeral home at 9:30. Burial will take place in the Apostolic Christian cemetery in LaCrosse.
Friends may call at the Bartholomew Funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday until time of services.
