The funeral for Frances June Loffler, 81, of 406 Centennial Terrace, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Allen-Nichols Funeral Home with the Rev. Geoffrey D. Coupland officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hammond.
Mrs. Loffler was found dead Monday at her home.
Mrs. Loffler owned Pastime Restaurant. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and an active volunteer for many organizations in Ogdensburg.
Born June 9, 1916, in Hammond, the daughter of James and Beatrice Lennox Hunter, she married Oliver Hunt on Aug. 28, 1937. The marriage ended in divorce.
She married Harold J. Loffler on Feb. 2, 1954, in Alburg, Vt. He died Jan. 27, 1984.
Surviving are a son, James Hunt, two stepsons, Ross and Leland Loffler, a daughter, Bernice Gerdes, a brother, Lester Hunter, six grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A brother, Robert Hunter, died before her.
